Over the last two decades, we have seen a burgeoning interest in re-thinking the role of work in the life of the church and all its people. Whether your church is comprised of people desperate for work or people desperate for rest from work, a theological vision for gospel-centered work is essential. This breakout (for pastors, leaders and congregants) will 1) present key theological concepts that change how people think about work, 2) offer some spiritual practices that help change how people feel about work, and 3) inspire you to do your work in ways that bear more God-glorifying fruit. Our hope is that all our churches will embrace the missional opportunities to impact our cities through the fields and institutions in which we work.
